TriTools offers a couple of new Break tools. FenceTrim lets you draw a fence around an object(s) and break to it -helpful if you have text or a leader placed, for example, over siding on a building elevation.

An example of BreakTo is shown below - you can break to arcs, curves, circles and other objects as well as lines. And while the Break (BR) tool and Multibreak (BM) in Visual CADD only let you break objects that are Ortho constrained, with BreakTo both the objects you are breaking and the objects you are breaking to can be at any angle.

You can do essentially the same thing with VCADD's Trim Multiple (TM) tool, but only if you have a continuous segment or closed boundary to break to. BreakTo doesn't care about that - no need to draw and then erase additional lines to form segments. Simply select the entities to break and then the cutting edges, and all entities between are gone!
