VISUAL CADD 4.0.4 PATCH READY FOR BETA TESTING
TriTools Partners
have completed work on the 4.0.4 patch and are looking for beta testers to put it "through the paces" before general release.
We realize that Spring is a busy season for many of you, and ask that you apply only if you can commit some time to serious testing.
Although the breadth of bug fixes and improvements is wide ranging, there are some specific areas where we need intensive testing. If any of these apply to you, and you have time to test, we encourage you to contact us:
*AutoCAD drawings hang or crash when importing to VCADD.
*You have VCADD numeric settings to Metric or Feet, and when importing DWG files some objects are scaled incorrectly.
*Generic CADD drawings have problems with some objects on import/export,
especially with dimensions and hatches.
*Problems printing, particularly in the NT/2000/XP environment.
*You are a power user of the scripting utility. Length of scripts has been seriously expanded, and you can now nest scripts within other scripts.
Thanks in advance for your help. Please contact James Barkshire at jbarkshire@tritools.com if you are interested in being a beta tester.
