IMSIŽ SIGNS LICENSING DEAL WITH TRITOOLS PARTNERS

IMSI has signed a long term licensing agreement with TriTools Partners to continue development of Visual CADD design and drafting software. Under the terms of the agreement, TriTools will complete development of Visual CADD version 4 for delivery to IMSI. The product should be ready to ship in late summer/early fall 2000.

TriTools Partners will develop and market future versions of the Visual CADD program.

Visual CADD is a highly productive 2D drafting and design software. It's a lean, efficient program that excels in fast execution, has an uncluttered interface, and has a very intuitive tool and feature set. As a stand-alone application, Visual CADD creates precise drawings for handling real-world engineering or architectural projects. As a CAD development engine, it offers third party developers a robust Open API (Application Programming Interface) with the power to create specialized utilities and develop independent applications.

Visual CADD was originally developed by the same team of programmers that created Generic CADD, and it carries on the traditions of simplicity and speed, now in the Windows environment.

The TriTools Partners have been involved with development of Visual CADD since version 3, and have also written popular 3rd party add-ons. Each of the partners has used Visual CADD for many years to create production drawings in various disciplines. They have also worked closely with other users, offering technical support to developers and providing tutorials and articles to the independent user group.

This combination of practical knowledge and ability to listen to and support user needs is coupled with a strong commitment to the program's long term life. TriTools Partners looks forward to working with IMSI to make Visual CADD a solid choice into the future.
