As you probably know, the Visual CADD 3 FileOpen dialog doesn't give you a preview of what is in the drawing you are planning on opening. The TriTools Preview does. Intended as a direct replacement for the VCADD dialog, you can now quickly scan through drawings in a folder without first having to open them.

Because the preview is a small bitmap stored in the drawing file, you have to first save your existing VCADD drawings with one of our Preview Save tools in order to view it the next time you open the dialog pictured above. We provide several options to do this --save at full zoom, current view, or decide exactly what view you want using the dialog pictured below, which gives complete control over Pan and Zoom options before you save the file. You can quickly add previews to any number of your archived drawings with our batch command.
