Visual CADD Patches, Updates and other files:

Visual CADD Version 6:

You can update to the latest version 6.0.3.210 from within the Visual CADD interface with the Check for Updates option on the Help menu.  If you prefer to manually download and install patches, we offer two options here.  The first option updates all versions of VCADD 6 to the latest update.  The second option is an incremental patch from the last version (6.0.2) and has a smaller file size.

With both options you can download an EXE file and run the install, or a ZIP file and unzip it to run the EXE.  Some security software will not allow an EXE download, so we offer both options.

*The Vcadd6 Update EXE file will update any version of Visual CADD 6 to the current version (6.0.3.210).  File size is 8.7 MB.

*The Vcadd6 Update ZIP file will update any version of Visual CADD 6 to the current version (6.0.3.210).  File size is 8.6 MB.

*The 602 to 603 patch EXE file will patch 6.0.2 Release (6.0.2.206) or 6.0.3 Release Candidate 1 (6.0.2.208) to the current version (6.0.3.210).  File size is 6.0 MB.

*The 602 to 603 patch ZIP file will patch 6.0.2 Release (6.0.2.206) or 6.0.3 Release Candidate 1 (6.0.2.208) to the current version (6.0.3.210).  File size is 5.9 MB.

Visual CADD Version 4:

*There are 3 different versions of the 4.0.4 patch, depending on whether you purchased the 4.0 IMSI release or one of the later TriTools 4.0.3 versions. Each is about 1.3 MB. All patch 4.0.3 to 4.0.4; if you have an earlier version you'll first need to patch to 4.0.3 as described in the next section.
Download this patch if you have the original IMSI version 4. To install it, you need to already be patched to 4.0.3 (see the next section if you need to install the earlier patch). If you are not sure, check the "About Visual CADD 4.0" on the Help menu. The version number should read 4.0.3.28.
Download this patch if you have the TriTools Visual CADD 4.0.3 CD. If you are not sure, check the "About Visual CADD 4.0" on the Help menu. The version number will read 4.0.3.30.
Download this patch if you have purchased the Visual CADD 4.0.3 downloadable version from TriTools (the one where you were sent a keycode to register). If you are not sure, check the "About Visual CADD 4.0" on the Help menu. The version number should read 4.0.3.31.

You can read the list of 4.0.4 fixes here online or download a file in the Adobe PDF format. Right click in your browser to save the file to disk. If you don't have the free Acrobat Reader download it at www.adobe.com.

*The VCADD 4.0.3 patch has 3 different versions. The one to download and install depends on whether you are still using the original IMSI version 4 or have applied one or more of our patches to it. Each update is approximately 1.6 MB:

You can read about the fixes here online or download a file in the Adobe PDF format that lists fixes for 4.0.1, 4.0.2 and 4.0.3. Right click in your browser to save the file to disk. If you don't have the free Acrobat Reader download it at www.adobe.com.

*Registration/Frontline Patch - If you're having problems opening the IMSI VCADD 4.0 version, or if you've reinstalled the CD and can't get rid of the popup screens, it is probably due to the FrontLine introductory screen IMSI used to register software, provide updates, and link to other web sites. TriTools Partners no longer supports this concept. Download this zipped patch file. Unzip it, copy it to your Visual CADD 4 Programs folder, and double click on it. VCADD will then be properly registered in the Windows Registry. No more popup screens.
