VCADD 6.0.3 Release Candidate 1

Welcome to Release Candidate 1 of the 6.0.3 update.

The 6.0.3 patch updates DWG import/export support to include AutoCAD file versions 2010-2012 and fixes several bugs in the version 6.0.2 release.  Download the README file linked below for a complete and updated list.

A Release Candidate means that the code has undergone testing for some time by both the development team and Visual CADD users, and the update is close to finished for final release. This is the first release candidate posted for 6.0.3.

This update applies only to the v6.0.2 Release, which is reported as either of versions 6.0.2.204 or 6.0.2.206 in the >Help>About Visual CADD 6.0 menu in Visual CADD.  If you are not already updated to v6.0.2 Release, then first download the 6.0.2 patch and install it.

If you have problems with this Release Candidate and want to roll back to the previous version, we have provided the means to do so. To remove the RC1 from your computer, go to Start>All Programs>Visual CADD 6.0. On the flyout you will see an option to "undo latest patch".

This update can be applied to the 30 day demo, so if you are doing a trial of Visual CADD you can utilize this patch to see the latest improvements. Install the demo first and then download and install the update.

We offer two options for downloading -- an EXE file and a zip file that contains the EXE. Some firewalls and anti-virus software block the download of a file with an EXE extension so the zip is an alternate in these cases.

Get the 6.0.3 Release Candidate 1:

Download the Visual CADD 6.0.3 Release Candidate 1 patch (a 5.6 MB self extracting EXE file)  or

Download a zip file containing the self extracting EXE file
