What's New in v8

The list below describes new features in Visual CADD™ v8.  Click on the thumbnail at right to open a larger image that will give you a better idea of what v8 looks like.

  • Custom Color Palette supporting full 24-bit color
  • More customizable User interface
  • Tabbed MDI interface and new toolbars
  • Dialog scaling feature to increase size of dialogs

  • MaskBnd/MK tool to draw opaque fills using background color using a boundary
  • BezEdit/BE tool as an editor for single and continuous Bezier and spline curves
  • Parabola/PB tool to place parabolas
  • ParabVertex/PV tool to draw a parabola using its vertex
  • MixedJoin/MJ tool to join mixed combinations of lines, Beziers, and splines
  • RSGrid/XSG adds grid snaps to running snaps
  • SnGridPt/GN command to snap to a grid point on demand
  • SnFocus/NF command to snap to the focal points of arcs, circles, ellipses, elliptical arcs, and parabolas
