As part of the agreement, IMSI will initially sell version 4. In the future, all development, marketing and sales of Visual CADD will be done by TriTools Partners. The partners have long used both Visual CADD and Generic CADD in their daily work. Over the years we've designed houses, commercial buildings, cabinets, millwork and furniture. With this experience we approach CADD first as users, then as developers, and try to understand what is needed to make drawing faster and easier. We also fully understand that Visual CADD has not had a 'home' these last few years --that it has been knocked around between different companies, who had other software and other priorities, and that this lack of continuity has hurt the program. Our only work will be Visual CADD related. The partners have been listening to and helping users for several years now --providing technical support to 3rd party developers, answering questions, writing tutorials. We intend to keep listening --more so now-- and to try and provide solutions. Our goal is to provide a long term home for Visual CADD, and to work with the users to make this great program the very best.
